Last Saturday, I hosted an event for mommy bloggers. LazerXtreme tapped me to create such an event that will give a new level of fun and different kind of adventure for some of the mommy bloggers and their kids.
I said yes because, I am a mommy blogger too. I figured this would be a good way to meet some fellow mommy bloggers as well. Also, I promote strong family bonds which I give importance to in my personal life.
So before we start, we were briefed about the game, the equipment and the rules before proceeding to an airlock vesting room.
Mommy bloggers together with their respective kids were grouped into opposing color teams who will try to shoot or tag the players of the other team with their phaser. Its like playing call of duty or counter strike except it comes to life.
We wore an illuminated vests reflecting the color groups with a laser gun. The vest is equipped with laser sensor on the shoulder, back and front which will make the gun interactive when hit by opponents. When a player tags an opponent, he scores depending on which area of opponents’ vest his laser beam strikes.
LazerXtreme is played in back light environment, a non-contact sport and an intense game by its nature. The game is more fun if you come in as a group. I tell you, we were sweating profusely after the game. It is an adrenalin rush for both kids and those that are kids at heart.
After the 15-minute game, they give you score sheet which tells you the winner of the game, showing the score, ranking, vital and arena stat.
LazerXtreme is the leader in laser tag entertainment. I recommend for players age 7 years of age and up. For those kids under 7, I will leave it up to parents to decide if playing is appropriate. There are function rooms to cool down , food and drinks are available too.
