Today, allow me to share with you my 3-day Amazing Amari Hotel JB Experience. A friendly escape to neighboring country, Johor Bahru is just an hour away from Singapore easily accessible by land.
I felt the warmth of Amari from the moment I arrived. The architecture is impressive and fascinating with a blend of Johor and Thai influences.
It is interesting to know that the lobby is located on the 6th floor. The design highlights include the iconic Thai elephant and trees synonymous with Thai culture.
The hotel has 242 guest rooms and suites. Furnished in soothing beige hues and purple accents. The clean and contemporary lines are balanced with traditional Thai motifs and reinterpreted on cushions, and fabrics.
The hotel also offers six unique Deluxe Pool Access rooms with private terraces, a first of any downtown Johor Bahru hotel.
We had a culinary adventure too where we delight in a myriads of flavours of modern Asia, variety of well-loved dishes from Chinese, Indian, Malay and Thai and international cuisines at Amaya Food Gallery.
The concept of Amaya Food Gallery resonates colours, rhythms and textures, the true heart of Amari experience.
Amaya Food Gallery is also a home to Executive Sous Chef Kanokwan Pungjaroenkijkul, often referred to as Chef Gina.
We got access at the Executive Club Lounge. Located on the 20th floor, is a warm and friendly space offering enhanced personalised service and privacy. We received full executive privileges plus complimentary wi-fi while we enjoy breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening cocktails.
We also tried the Breeze Spa service located in the lobby level of the hotel and accessed through a contemporary Thai teak panelled walkway. The spa features urban chic design.
The 60-minute signature mood massage, a unique sensory experience never felt before. Its treatments are innovative yet respecting centuries old healing treatments, techniques and therapies.
While exploring the hotel, I got to witness an intimate outdoor solemnisation at the spellbinding Terrace. Amari JB is committed to making your fairy-tale wedding come true.
